Local Author - Lesley Smail : I write romance novels with a healthy amount of spice, always prioritizing a compelling plot that develops alongside the heat. While my work may not be everyone’s cup of tea, I stay true to my unique voice and style. 

I started writing in the summer of 2024, after a year of binge-reading nearly 200 books. The idea for my story had been brewing since 2018, but it wasn’t until one fateful drive to work that everything clicked. Since then, the words have flowed effortlessly, and I now have two series and six books currently in the works.

When I'm not writing, I'm passionate about gardening, growing everything from houseplants to vegetables. I love spending my summers outdoors, surrounded by nature.

Sports have always been a part of my life, and I have a naturally competitive spirit—even when it’s just a simple card game. But no matter what I’m doing, I strive to have fun and enjoy the moment.

Life’s experiences and the friendships I've formed along the way have taught me to stay strong and believe in myself. I’m deeply grateful for the supportive people who show me kindness and love every day.
