🕵️ What’s Hunt for Hootbert All About?

It’s a fun, free, city-wide scavenger hunt for all ages, running through the month of July!
Waldo is hiding in 35+ local businesses across Grande Prairie—including The Next Chapter—and it’s your job to spot him.

When you find Hootbert at a participating business, ask a staff member for their unique store stamp or signature in your passport.
Collect enough and you’ll earn prizes—and entries into the draw!

🎟️ Why Register Early?

• Passports are limited!
  We’ll print our first batch based on early registrations. Signing up helps guarantee you get one before they run out.

• Only registered players can win prizes.
  Even if you pick up your passport elsewhere, you still need to register to be eligible.

Already picked one up from another location? Great! Just make sure to register here to be entered in the draw.

📅 When Does the Hunt Happen?

The hunt runs July 1–31.
Be sure to bring your passport with you—you must visit each business in person to get a stamp.

🧾 A Few Quick Rules:

• One passport per adult (18+).

• Children are welcome to join in the fun, but only adults may enter the prize draw.

• Stamps must be collected in person—you must be present at each business to receive a signature.

• Signatures will be checked for authenticity.

🎉 What Can You Win?

📍 Return your passport to The Next Chapter by July 31.

• $1000 in prizes have been donated by the businesses participating in this event!
• Get your first prize entry after collecting 20 store Stamps

• Earn one extra entry for every 10 additional Stamps

• Collect all locations? Even better odds!
  (One prize per adult participant.)

• Watch Facebook for even more ways to earn extra entries throughout the month!

Note: Free tickets for the wrap-up party will be available starting mid-July. Keep an eye on your email and our social media for the announcement!
If you plan to bring additional guests who did not participate in the Hunt for Hootbert, they’re welcome to join but will need to pay the drop-in rate at the party venue (Card's Board Game Café).

Celebrate the end of the hunt with us and be there for the live prize draw!
You don’t have to attend to win—but those present will be drawn first and get first pick of the prizes, BINGO-style.
