Challenges of the Homestead

This is a collection of private letters from Clyde Campbell and his wife Myrle Campbell, who homesteaded in the Peace River district of Alberta, Canada from 1919 to 1924. They wrote frequent letters to Clyde's parents, who lived in Toledo, Ohio which provide a personal record of the hard work involved in "proving up" a homestead.
